Courtney Crawford Slater is the Class of 1991 from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in
Finance. She earned her real estate license soon after graduating, but pursued other careers in business, sales, marketing,
event planning, as well as maintaining her real estate business and other various community involvements. In 2001, Courtney
had the opportunity to begin a successful career as VP-Business Development in the title industry and in 2012, Courtney
joined the industry leader, Republic Title. Through the connections and relationships that Courtney has established
in her career, her expertise and knowledge help ensure that her clients have a positive and smooth experience when buying
or selling a home. She eventually came full circle by connecting her passion for her fellow Aggies and her knowledge
of the residential real estate process and she created The Aggie Real Estate Connection. Her husband, Edward Slater,
a realtor with Briggs Freeman Sothebys International brings his strong negotiating skills, contacts, market knowledge
and his excellent communication skills that his clients truly appreciate and rave about. Together, Courtney and Edward are
now focusing their skills, energies and industry knowledge into helping fellow Aggies buy and sell their most precious assets
and investments…their home. She is a past-president of The Dallas A&M Club (the second woman to ever hold the position)
as well as a past Class Agent for the Class ’91. She serves on the board of The Cotton Bowl Athletic Association,
she is a sustainer for the Junior League of Dallas, she is a member of The Cattle Baron's Ball which is the largest fundraiser
for the American Cancer Society, The Women's Auxiliary for Children's Medical Center and she is involved in her
daughter's schools and community activities which includes the White Rock Elementary PTA, Lake Highlands Jr High PTA,
Lake Highlands High School, a sustainer for the Lake Highlands Junior Womens League, Lake Highlands Women's League and
the National Charity League. She and her husband, Edward, are CrossFitters, members of the Dallas Summer Musicals,
The Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Arboretum, and they are proud supporters of Carry the Load and Young Life.
